Easter - Chair lift possiblility
Mar 04th, 2010, 11:15am

G'day all,

Over the past couple of weeks I've been in an email conversation with the Mt Hotham skiing company as they have the big D chair lift open over easter.

So I quizzed em, can we use our mt boards down the big d run and use the chair lift.  The response was not an out right yes, more like;
Well we don't know what a mt board is but assuming they meet safety regulations you can trial it over the easter period, but if we deem it a safety concern to yourself or other we may not let you load the lift and you will be refunded.

I do not know what safety regulations they could be talking about, anyone?  Plus I haven't been up to the Big D run in the summer so have no idea of the follage or height of grass etc. So generally saying I'm not sure if it'll be worth while.

Was just thinking that it has the possiblility to be pretty cool and Baw Baw doesn't seem to be accommodating us anymore so this could be a good opportunity. Any takers??  should we follow this up??

Chin

PS. I'm not even sure if I'll be around over easter.
